Almost 8 years now! That's really strange when I think about it....
What does your username mean?
Well, the Samuel part is my real name, and the Skanvis part is a word I totally made up when I was about 12, and since I started using it as my gamertag I've stuck with it ever since!

What was your first deviation?
Unfortunately removed now, it was a drawing of my character the Chain Guy!
What is your favourite type of art to create?
Character designs drawn by blue pencil, or spur-of-the-moment abstract-esque pieces that have deep but understandable meanings.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Hmm, a tough one, but I'd absolutely love to be able to make sculptures!

What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
I like a large variety of things really! I suppose the stuff I favourite most though is drawings and cartoony-looking art.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
Ah man don't do this, I love so many! But if I had to pick one based on ultimate skill, then I'd pick toniart57 , his pencil works are beyond insane!
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
I've had the privilege of meeting a few already, but for those I haven't yet, I'd pick BITEGHOST and iAmTheQuam , I've known them for a long time on here and I love their drawings, so being able to meet them in person and meld brain cells would be sweet!
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
RedBlackStripe was one of the first friends I had on here, and in a way she helped show me that the internet isn't all a big and scary place, and she's even helped me to see that LGBT people are just as fine and dandy as everyone else!
What are your preferred tools to create art?
My favourites are my 0.7 Mechanical Pencil filled with Blue Graphite, and Copic Ciao markers!
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
My true Zen Mode in art is at my desk with my music playing from my laptop and a fruit cider close by!
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
There have been so many, but one does stick out: the 2009 DeviantART World Tour! I was able to go to the London meetup with an old friend of mine, and we had a blast!
