) Anyway, I'm highly thankful for the support from you people, it really genuinely motivated me to get off my sorry bum (which is now sore, btw) and do something about my lack of art. I've now made it part of my schedule to do some life drawing practice most days using Quickposes, a website where you can set a time limit to draw each image that comes up. Drawing from photos isn't quite as useful as from actual life, but it's a start and it's free!
I'm also making it more of a habit to doodle stuff, just anything really. I've done a couple already so hoping to get a few up this week! Also ended up starting a page of my character Sara Lance in an updated vigilante suit (the blue-armoured one from before), which will hopefully be used for when I EVENTUALLY get down to fully realising the Gunman and Sara story.
On that note, I can't understand why I ever did stop drawing for a long period of time. Whilst drawing said Sara drawing, I simply had so much Fun doing it, and I just wanted to keep going even though it was really late; I haven't felt that way for a VERY long time, and it just felt so damn good to feel it again.
And I want to thank my faithful watchers here on dA for helping me to realise the fun in drawing again. I can't really describe how thankful I am to have people who, despite me being effectively absent for the last few months, have stuck around and interacted when I have been here. You bucks are the bestest!!
