That is a long time when I think about it. Considering I'm 22 Now, I've gone through a couple of main stages of Life during my time here! It's kinda scary, actually....
It's always good to look back though, and looking back at my art and comparing it to now, there have been a lot of changes - Technique improvements, finding my own style, and getting a grasp on other arty bits too. Whilst I haven't necessarily seen the change whilst I go, looking back a few years really makes you realise the difference.
This year has been pretty tough though. I sorta realised that I went to University to further a hobby rather than a career, and whilst the first half of the year was good for art, the last third had some major downfalls, including those Anxiety Attacks. Honestly, I wasn't sure if I was going to recover from those, if I were ever going to draw again. Luckily, I did get past it, and am recovering well now. My newly-founded Youtube channel is going well so far too, which is helping me to stay creative and learning too.
But the one thing that, despite me being around here less often recently, keeps me coming back, is you people. My fellow artists and friends. Without you I would have no-one to converse with about the twisted worlds that are our imaginations, the techniques to keeping oneself motivated, and many other topics that people I see regularly in real life would not understand.
So a Massive Thank You to all who have kept their eye on my artwork over these years! I truly appreciate it
And yes, there will be a celebratory drawing. Soon. Ish!
