Seeing as the government has actually been nice to me and given me an extra £160 to blow over the holidays, I've already gone and bought some new stuff, namely 3 Great DS Games- Space Invaders Extreme 2, StarFox Command, and Sonic Classic Collection! (I also got a Ghost in the Shell DVD and a Bart Simpson pencil case )

Firstly, Space Invaders Extreme 2
THIS IS DAMN AWESOME. It's nothing like the original (apart from the invaders and the UFO's) but it's over-the-top nature and speedy action more than makes up for it. And you get power-ups! Including a MASSIVE LASER BEAM THAT KILLS EVERYTHING!! If you like games that are fast, insane, but still require some thought to get you through, this is the perfect pick-up. I got it for £10 at Game, second-hand, which I think is a fair price. Oh, and you can submit your High-Scores to the worldwide leaderboards

Overall: 9/10 Amazingly colourful, a great challenge, just a little short. Still, the need to improve your high score will keep you coming back!!

Secondly, StarFox Command
Better than I heard it was, for sure. The 3D dogfight sections are really good, and the nine endings to unlock will keep you coming back to find them. However, I thought the story was too short, which is why there are probably 9 endings. Still, getting to blast stuff out of the sky is great fun!! Picked it up for £8 in BlockBuster, second-hand.

Overall: 8/10 It's too short, but the gameplay is still excellent and a good challenge.

Finally, Sonic Classic Collection
What can I say? All 4 of the ORIGINAL Sonic games in 1 DS cartridge! Plus you get to unlock Sonic 3 and Knuckles, and Knuckles in Sonic 2! It's colourful, it's quick as Sonic should be, and it's brill- Any Sonic fan should pick this up, although it was hard to find for me £15 in Blockbuster, brand new!

Overall: 9/10 Excellent stuff, a bit hard for me but it's a great bargain
